  1. About Blackout Haus

These Terms of Service govern your use of www.blackouthaus.com and your requests for services from Blackout Haus LLC, doing business as Blackout Ceramic Haus (“Blackout Haus,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).

Our services may include automotive detailing, paint enhancement and correction, ceramic coatings, automotive window tint, vinyl graphics and restyling, and residential or commercial window film installation. Availability depends on the project, materials, and scheduling.

  1. Website use and service agreements

Please review these terms before using our website or requesting services. You may use the website only for lawful purposes. Do not submit fraudulent inquiries, interfere with website security, or attempt unauthorized access.

Submitting a form or requesting an estimate does not by itself confirm an appointment or authorize paid work. Services are subject to our acceptance and the written estimate, work order, or other agreement approved by you. Material payment, cancellation, and warranty terms will be provided before you commit. If a signed project agreement conflicts with these website terms, the project agreement controls for that project, subject to applicable law.

  1. Estimates, pricing, and changes

Website prices and promotional offers are subject to the stated scope, eligibility, and availability. Starting prices are not final quotes. Final pricing may depend on vehicle size, condition, existing film or coatings, surface preparation, material selection, access, glass type, and project complexity. Applicable taxes and approved additional charges will be identified in the estimate or invoice.

Estimates are based on the information available at the time. If inspection or work reveals a condition requiring additional work or cost, we will explain the change and obtain your authorization before performing work outside the approved scope. Customer-requested changes may affect price and completion time. Any estimate expiration date will be stated in the estimate.

  1. Scheduling, deposits, cancellations, and refunds

Appointments are confirmed when we expressly confirm the booking and any required deposit has been received. Deposit amounts, how deposits are applied, refundability, cancellation deadlines, and any rescheduling or no-show charges will be disclosed before payment. The written terms accepted for your appointment govern; these website terms do not create an automatic nonrefundable deposit or cancellation fee. No call no show automatically forfeit deposit. We normally require a $50 deposit for window tint appointments and $100 for ceramic coating jobs. All other specialty projects will require a 20% deposit of the project estimated total.

Please contact us promptly if you need to change an appointment. If we must reschedule, we will contact you to arrange another date. If we cannot provide an agreed service, amounts paid for the unperformed service will be refunded unless you agree to another lawful arrangement. Other refund requests will be reviewed under your project agreement and applicable law.

  1. Customer authorization and preparation

You must own the vehicle or property or have authority to approve the work. Provide accurate contact and project information and disclose known issues that may affect the service, including previous paintwork, failing clear coat, damaged trim, existing films, water leaks, glass defects, or manufacturer restrictions.

Remove valuables and personal items from work areas. For on-site work, provide safe, lawful access and any utilities or site preparation identified in your estimate. Special access equipment, glass removal, or work by other trades is included only if stated in the approved scope.

  1. Results, existing conditions, and completion times

Results depend on surface condition, prior repairs, materials, use, maintenance, and environmental exposure. Paint correction cannot safely remove every defect. Ceramic coatings do not make paint scratchproof, stone-chip-proof, or maintenance-free. Window films do not eliminate every source of heat or glare. Vinyl and film installation can reveal or be affected by pre-existing defects, and removal can affect compromised or repainted surfaces.

We will discuss material risks identified during inspection and seek authorization where appropriate. This section does not excuse negligent work or waive rights provided by law.

Completion times are estimates unless specifically guaranteed in writing. Product cure times, weather, supply delays, concealed conditions, or approved changes may affect the schedule. We will communicate significant delays.

  1. Window tint and property approvals

Automotive window tint is subject to laws that vary by jurisdiction and window location. We will discuss the proposed installation, but do not guarantee that a requested shade or configuration is lawful in every jurisdiction. You are responsible for providing accurate information about vehicle use and any claimed exemption. We may decline work that does not meet applicable requirements. Nothing in these terms transfers our own legal obligations to you.

For residential and commercial projects, obtain any required owner, landlord, association, or other approvals before work begins. Film compatibility and any effects on existing glass warranties should be reviewed before installation; glass replacement or seal-failure coverage is included only if expressly provided in the applicable written warranty.

  1. Aftercare and warranties

Follow the aftercare instructions provided for your service. Any Blackout Haus workmanship warranty and any manufacturer warranty will be identified separately in writing, including coverage, exclusions, claim procedures, and maintenance requirements. Advertised coating durations refer to the specific package and its written conditions, not unconditional protection against all damage.

If your selected coating package requires annual inspections, decontamination, or top-coat service, the frequency, applicable cost, and effect on warranty coverage will be disclosed before purchase. These website terms alone do not establish those charges or requirements.

Contact us promptly about a concern so we can evaluate it. Nothing here limits nonwaivable consumer rights or warranties required by law.

  1. Communications and text messages

When you request contact, we may respond using the contact method you provide to discuss your inquiry, estimate, scheduling, service updates, or payment. Promotional calls, texts, or emails will be sent only with any consent required by law.

If you separately opt in to text messages, message frequency varies and message/data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for assistance, or contact 717-516-0529 or corey@blackouthaus.com. Consent to marketing texts is not a condition of purchase. Opting out of texts does not cancel an appointment or payment obligation; contact us to arrange another communication method. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

  1. Website content, photos, and external services

Our original website content, branding, graphics, and photos are owned by Blackout Haus or used with permission. You may not reproduce them commercially without authorization, except as permitted by law.

We may document work for condition records and service quality. Permission to use identifiable customer images, testimonials, or project photos in public marketing will be obtained separately where required. Accepting these terms does not grant blanket marketing permission.

External websites and payment or booking providers operate under their own applicable terms and privacy policies. We do not control their independent content or practices.

  1. Website availability and responsibility

We aim to keep website information accurate, but errors or interruptions may occur. Contact us to confirm material pricing or service details. To the extent permitted by law, the website is provided on an “as available” basis without a guarantee of uninterrupted or error-free operation. This website statement does not disclaim our responsibility for contracted services, fraud, negligence, or rights that cannot lawfully be waived.

  1. Disputes, governing law, and updates

Please first contact us at corey@blackouthaus.com so we can try to resolve concerns. Pennsylvania law governs these terms to the extent permitted by applicable law. This provision does not eliminate mandatory protections that apply to a customer or restrict legally available complaint channels or small-claims remedies.

We may update these terms by posting a revised version and effective date. Changes apply prospectively and do not retroactively change an accepted project agreement without the required agreement. If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to the extent permitted by law.
