Do you want tint just where you sit, or full vehicle coverage?

A lot of people don’t realize that “Factory Dyed Glass” is not actually Window Tint. People tell me all the time, “just install tint on my two front windows because I already have tint on the rest of my vehicle”. This is a common misconception, while the windows appear to be darkened there is no actual film installed on your factory glass.

What does this mean? It means that you have no real protection against the sun and if you want to lower cabin temperatures, you would want to tint the whole vehicle, even tinting your sun roof or moon roof can make a big difference. Think about it, where does a lot of the heat come in? Yes from the top of the vehicle and the front windshield. Typically we install a clear film or a very light tint on the windshield. We don’t recommend going super dark on your windshield, not only is it illegal but it can be dangerous while driving at night.

Two Front Windows– Mostly SUV’s and Pickup Trucks that just want their front windows to match the rest of the vehicle. The benefits of two fronts is to add a uniform look while improving vehicle aesthetics. Throw in a sunshade visor to complete the look and call it a day and be out of the shop within an hour.
Full Vehicle Coverage– All sedans will without a doubt want to get all their windows tinted because there is no dyed glass from the factory. Most people that want tint just for looks will normally go for a carbon window tint package if they are not looking for heat rejection film. If you are going to spend the money on tint and full vehicle coverage, it is our recommendation to get our entry level ceramic package to give you that added benefit. Get the best of both worlds, great looks and lowered cabin temperatures.
Carbon VS Ceramic Tint– Most two front packages are going to go with a carbon tint and full vehicle coverage is going to go with ceramic because it just makes sense. After going over your wants and goals for your car, we will come up with a solution that fits your specific application.
Custom Tint Packages– There are a hand full of cars and people that have unique situations where custom percentages can be tailored directly to fit your custom application. Want dark tint but still want to be able to see out your rear view mirror at night? We can make a custom package just for you. Did you know that even clear window tint has all the same benefits as dark? Yep that’s right, a lot of our customers install just a “little shade” of tint like a 50% to get all the benefits of tint but not being overly dark.

Some examples of different tint options:

2008 BMW 535xi-5% All AROUND. As you can see we have the darkest option here which really contrasts the white. This car also had a dark interior which really made this tint dark.

VW R32- 20% REAR-35% FRONTS– As you can see the front is slightly lighter, This is a common look on SUV’s and trucks but people seem to like it for hatchbacks as well.

BMW 535xi- 20% All AROUND– This is one of the most common options, not overly dark but still dark enough. 20% is the go to option for overall economy and bold looks.

MK7 GTI- 35% ALL AROUND- This is often times my recommendation for young professionals wanting ceramic tint to keep there vehicles cool without being to dark for night driving. 35% really hits that sweet spot for most people while still delivering.
